About Debra: Debra Cobia has been designing and fabricating jewelry for approximately 25 years. Inspired by nature and strongly influenced by both texture and color, she began experimenting with kiln-fired clay and fused glass in the 1980s and 90s, and discovered a love of metal and gemstones in early 2000. She has taken numerous workshops in basic and advanced metals courses and continues to refine her skill and develop expertise in special techniques by attending several jewelry workshops with prominent metal artists each year. Debra currently lives in Carrollton, Georgia and is a member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths and the Carrollton Artists Guild.
